The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles (Las Vegas, NV), saw Sierra Vista's volleyball squad beat Somerset Sky Pointe by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Sierra Vista upgrades its record to 10-12 on the year. The Mountain Lions host Basic (Henderson, NV) to play the Wolves in a 4A Mountain bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 22-10.

The Eagles now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Las Vegas for a non-league bout on Friday, October 14. Somerset Sky Pointe will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-20.
