In Monday's league contest, the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles (Las Vegas, NV), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Mountain Lions battle the Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV) in a 4A Mountain contest, on Wednesday, September 21. Sierra Vista will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Wolves come into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV).
