October 12, 2023: Melville, NY 11747 St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY), 3-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Friars confront the St. Mary's Gaels (Manhasset, NY) in a NSCHAA challenge, on Tuesday, October 24. St. Anthony's will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record.
In their next game, the Firebirds battle the St. Dominic Bayhawks (Oyster Bay, NY) in a NSCHAA bout, on Friday, October 13. Kellenberg Memorial will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Bayhawks enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 4-1 league win over St. Mary's (Manhasset, NY).
