With the win, Auburn upgrades its record to 18-17 on the year. The Tigers travel to Fayette County (Fayette, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, October 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 16-19. Fayette County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Northside (Northport, AL)
The Hornets now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they travel to Mary G. Montgomery for a 7A Area 1 bout on Thursday, October 19. Baker will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 8-22.
