The Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI) volleyball held off the host South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 28-7 record. They play next when they travel to Marian for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 12. Utica Eisenhower will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mercy (Farmington Hills, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 31-6.

With the loss, South Lyon East drops to 24-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Saline (Saline, MI) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 17. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 14-8.
