The South Lyon East Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Utica Eisenhower Eagles to 1 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to South Lyon for a Lakes Valley outing on Tuesday, October 8. South Lyon East will clash with a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Lions record now stands at 17-5.
