Maryland High School Soccer - Bowie nudges Laurel
October 13, 2022: Laurel, MD 20707 Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A challenge, on Monday, October 17. Bowie will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 4-0 league win over Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD).
The Spartans now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host High Point for a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Monday, October 17. Laurel will face a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league win over Flowers (Springdale, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
