Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), 34-27 in a league test.

With the win, Corinth improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Warriors travel to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to confront the Warriors in a 5A Region 1 test on Friday, October 20. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 3-4. Pontotoc lost 42-17 in their recent league test against Lafayette (Oxford, MS)

With the loss, New Hope moves to 0-7 on the season. The Trojans host Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS) to confront the Wildcats in a 5A Region 1 test on Friday, October 20. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 4-3. Clarksdale won 27-21 in their recent league test against West Point (West Point, MS)
