The Florence Christian Eagles (Florence, SC) football defeated the host Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC), 28-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles face the First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC) in a SCISA AAA bout, on Friday, October 20. Florence Christian will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Hurricanes enter the bout with a 1-7 record after their 42-0 non-league loss to Bishop England (Charleston, SC).

The Barons (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC). The Highlanders enter the non-league bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Heathwood Hall Episcopal defeated Camden Military (Camden, SC), 13-6, in a league bout.
