Missouri High School Softball - Green City bounces Grundy County
October 13, 2023: Green City, MO 63545 Green City Gophers (Green City, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grundy County Panthers (Galt, MO), 18-5 in a league challenge.
The Gophers now own a 5-15 record. They take the field next when they host Schuyler County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 14. Green City will face a Rams squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Linn County (Purdin, MO). The Rams record now stands at 9-17.
With the loss, Grundy County falls to 4-8 on the campaign.
