Missouri High School Softball - Novinger holds off Grundy County
October 5, 2023: Novinger, MO 63559 Novinger Wildcats (Novinger, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Grundy County Panthers (Galt, MO), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schuyler County for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 9.
With the loss, Grundy County falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Green City (Green City, MO) to face the Gophers in a Class 1 District 12 challenge on Friday, October 13. The Gophers enter the challenge with a record of 2-13.
