In Friday's non-league contest, the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Mountain Lions battle the Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 13. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 15-15 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over San Luis (San Luis, AZ).
