Arizona High School Volleyball - Higley can't hold off Mountain Ridge

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Higley Knights.

The Mountain Lions (17-16) will now prepare for their battle against Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, Maricopa was edged by Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Knights clash with the Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Higley will attempt to advance on its 15-12 season record. The Sentinels come into the battle with a 10-10 record after their 1-1 non-league Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ).
