North Carolina High School Football - Alexander Central victorious over South Caldwell
October 14, 2022: Hudson, NC 28638 The Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) football overcame the host South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), 27-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a 3A/4A West Conference 52 bout, on Friday, October 21. Alexander Central will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 55-7 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC).
The Spartans (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies enter the 3A/4A West Conference 52 bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Ashe County was toppled by Freedom (Morganton, NC), 55-26, in a league bout.
