The McKinney Lions football team (McKinney, TX), was tipped 31-28 in Friday's league challenge with the host Allen Eagles (Allen, TX)

The Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats come into the 6A Region I District 5 challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Guyer nipped Braswell (Little Elm, TX), 62-7, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Rock Hill for a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, October 21. McKinney will meet a Blue Hawks team coming off a 21-0 league win over Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Blue Hawks record now stands at 3-4.
