In Friday's league game, the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) football team knocked off the visiting Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX), by a final score of 52-24.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Bengals come into the 6A Region I District 5 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Braswell was dropped by Rock Hill (Frisco, TX), 50-49, in a league game.

The Broncos now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host McKinney for a 6A Region I District 5 game on Friday, September 23. Boyd will battle a Lions team coming off a 49-16 league win over Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-1.
