The Cox Mill Chargers walloped the host Lake Norman Wildcats football team by a final score of 45-7 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Cox Mill improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Chargers host Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to confront the Ragin' Bulls in a 4A West Conference 57 outing on Friday, October 21. The Ragin' Bulls go into the outing with a record of 5-3. Hickory Ridge won 55-10 in their recent league outing against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)
