Virginia High School Volleyball - Western Albemarle tips Monticello
October 14, 2024: Charlottesville, VA 22902 The Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) volleyball held off the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Orange County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 15. Western Albemarle will clash with a Fighting Hornets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Monticello drops to 3-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 15. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Louisa County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)
