With the win, Western Albemarle advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 2-7. Monticello lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Madison County (Madison, VA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange County for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. Goochland will face a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 3-5.
