October 14, 2024: Anamosa, IA 52205 The Anamosa Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Maquoketa Cardinals to 0 in the Raiders league triumph on Monday.
The Raiders now have a 28-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mid-Prairie for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 17. Anamosa will play a Golden Hawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 28-7.
With the loss, Maquoketa drops to 9-18 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 22. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 15-12. Western Dubuque lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Linn-Mar (Marion, IA)
