California High School Volleyball - University Prep over Yreka

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) and the host Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA), saw University Prep's volleyball squad notch a victory over Yreka by a score of 2-0.

With the win, University Prep improves its record to 28-1 on the season. The Panthers host Lassen (Susanville, CA) to encounter the Grizzlies in a battle on Thursday, October 16. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a record of 7-3. Lassen won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA)

Next, the Miners meet the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Yreka will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 2-1 league win over University Prep (Redding, CA).
