The Yreka Miners volleyball squad (Yreka, CA), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA)

With the win, University Prep improves its record to 26-0 on the season. The Panthers host Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA) to encounter the Falcons in a battle on Thursday, October 2. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Central Valley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Orland (Orland, CA)
