Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) and the visiting East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX), observed Canyon's volleyball team top East Central by a count of 3-0.

The Cougars (28-13) will now prepare for their contest against Judson (Converse, TX). The Rockets enter the 6A Region IV District 29 battle with a 11-25 record. In their last battle, Judson dropped by San Marcos (San Marcos, TX), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Hornets now own a 21-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson for a 6A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, October 17. East Central will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 31-9.
