Match Summary

Playing with the same players who had just won the JV match, the Phoenix won two sets straight, both squeakers, to open. We were hungry to get a Varsity win to close the season. As it happened, though, our girls were unable to keep up their momentum through the last 3 sets. It was a very long night of play, and we had no fresh players. It was very disappointing for our team to drop another close match with the Lady Falcons, but we had fought long and hard and came away from the match able to hold our heads high. We closed out the regular season with a ton of experience under our belt, so much improvement in skills and chemistry and a three game winning streak on the JV ledger!
