In Saturday's non-league contest, the Blue Valley North Mustangs (Overland Park, KS) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies (Overland Park, KS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 15. Blue Valley North will attempt to better on its 18-10 season record. The Huskies come into the contest with a 20-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bonner Springs (Bonner Springs, KS).

With the loss, Shawnee Mission East drops to 18-16 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Bentonville (Bentonville, AR) to battle the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 15.
