The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) and the host Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL), saw Rockford Christian's volleyball squad nip Forreston by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Rockford Christian upgrades its record to 19-10 on the year. The Royal Lions travel to Streator (Streator, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-18. Streator lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Herscher (Herscher, IL)
