Arizona High School Volleyball - Sunnyslope bounced by Xavier College Prep

Xavier College Prep Gators (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Gators (26-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Aztecs enter the 6A - Central challenge with a 28-3 record. In their last challenge, Corona del Sol beat Millennium (Goodyear, AZ), 3-1, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 19-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Connor for a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. Sunnyslope will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 21-5.
