In Monday's league contest, the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) volleyball squad knocked off the host Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Thunderbirds battle the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) in a Shoreline contest, on Wednesday, October 18. North Branford will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 5-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Morgan (Clinton, CT).

With the loss, Old Lyme drops to 8-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Valley Regional (Deep River, CT) to battle the Warriors in a Shoreline contest on Wednesday, October 18.
