In Wednesday's league match, the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) volleyball squad prevailed the host Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Sabercats confront the Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ) in a 4A - Desert Sky match, on Monday, October 21. Saguaro will attempt to advance on its 15-14 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 19-14 record after their 3-1 league loss to Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ).

The Wildcats (22-7) will now prepare for their match against Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ). The Skyhawks enter the non-league match with a 19-16 record. In their last match, Deer Valley gained a win over Westview (Avondale, AZ), 3-0, in a league match.
