Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Mercy Marlins (Farmington Hills, MI) and the host Fenton Tigers (Fenton, MI), observed Mercy's volleyball team top Fenton by a count of 2-0.

With the win, Mercy improves its record to 28-3 on the season. The Marlins travel to Romeo (Romeo, MI) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 16. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 23-10. Romeo won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Dakota (Macomb, MI)
