Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Mercy Marlins (Farmington Hills, MI) and the visiting South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), observed Mercy's volleyball team hold off South Lyon by a count of 2-1.

The Marlins (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Academy was edged by Huron (Huron, OH), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
