The Chesterton Academy Saints held off the host Walatowa Charter Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Saints now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jemez Valley for a 1A District 7 test on Thursday, October 19. Chesterton Academy will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 2-14.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagle enter the 1A District 7 test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy held off New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM), 3-0, in a league test.
