The Legacy Academy Silverbacks prevailed the visiting Walatowa Charter Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Silverbacks now have a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy for a 1A District 7 test on Saturday, October 28. Legacy Academy will confront a Eagle team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Chesterton Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagle record now stands at 10-6.
The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their test against New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Roadrunners enter the 1A District 7 test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, New Mexico School for the Deaf gained a win over Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM), 3-1, in a league test.
