Maine High School Soccer - Waterville knocks off Winslow
October 17, 2024: Winslow, ME 04901 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME) and the host Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), saw Waterville's soccer squad knock off Winslow by a count of 4-1.
The Panthers (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Belfast (Belfast, ME). The Lions enter the Class B - North battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Belfast tipped Nokomis (Newport, ME), 5-3, in a league battle.
Next up, the Black Raiders battle the Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME) in a Class B - North battle, on Tuesday, October 22. Winslow will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-13 record after their 2-1 league loss to Nokomis (Newport, ME).
