The Arcola Purple Riders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Blue Ridge Knights to 0 in the Purple Riders league triumph on Thursday.

The Purple Riders now possess a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond for a Lincoln Prairie outing on Friday, October 18. Arcola will clash with a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL). The Knights record now stands at 20-7.
