Iowa High School Football - Assumption prevails Center Point-Urbana
October 17, 2025: Center Point, IA 52213 In Friday's league match, the visiting Assumption Knights football squad scored a good 28-0 triumph over the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers.
The Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA). The Mustangs come into the 3A District 3 match with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Vernon was dropped by Wahlert (Dubuque, IA), 23-21, in a league challenge.
The Stormin' Pointers (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA). The go into the 3A District 3 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Central DeWitt toppled Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA), 56-14, in a league challenge.
