The Longhorns now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lubbock for a 5A-1 Region I District 2 outing on Friday, October 24. Caprock will clash with a Westerners squad coming off a 73-0 league loss to Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Westerners record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Coronado drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to battle the Sandies in a 5A-1 Region I District 2 game on Thursday, October 23. The Sandies enter the game with a record of 5-2. Amarillo won 45-10 in their recent league game against Caprock (Amarillo, TX)
