The Washington County Golden Hawks were victorious over the visiting East Laurens Falcons football squad by a margin of 26-14 in Friday's league test.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwest for a A D1 Region 2 test on Thursday, October 23. Washington County will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 35-21 league loss to Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, East Laurens drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Falcons host Jefferson County (Louisville, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a A D1 Region 2 game on Friday, October 24.
