The crowd at Friday's league contest between the El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA) and the visiting Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA), witnessed El Toro's football squad edge Irvine by a count of 31-25.

The Chargers (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA). The Saints go into the Iota battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Santa Ana was tipped by Sonora (La Habra, CA), 36-16, in a league battle.

The Vaqueros now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Troy for a Iota battle on Friday, October 24. Irvine will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 37-0 league win over Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.
