California High School Football - Canyon defeated by El Toro

The El Toro Chargers were victorious over the visiting Canyon Comanches football team by a score of 27-17 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA) in a Iota challenge, on Thursday, October 9. El Toro will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 42-9 league loss to Troy (Fullerton, CA).

The Comanches (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Irvine (Irvine, CA). The Vaqueros come into the Iota outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Irvine topped Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA), 43-7, in a league outing.
