In Thursday's league game, the Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA) football squad knocked off the host Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA), by a margin of 29-21.

The Vaqueros now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Toro for a Iota outing on Friday, October 17. Irvine will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 35-21 league win over Sonora (La Habra, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Canyon drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Comanches host Troy (Fullerton, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a Iota outing on Thursday, October 16. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 6-1. Troy won 48-19 in their recent league contest against Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA)
