Arizona High School Football - Mountain Pointe smashes Gilbert

The Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) football trounced the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ), 52-20 in Friday's league outing.

The Pride now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skyline for a 5A San Tan game on Friday, October 24. Mountain Pointe will face a Coyotes team coming off a 48-8 league loss to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-5.

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ). The Mountain Lions enter the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Red Mountain overwhelmed Mountain View (Mesa, AZ), 23-22, in a league game.
