The Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) football were winner over the host King Brahmas (Kingsville, TX), 37-22 in Thursday's league outing.

The Tarpons now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host La Feria for a 4A-2 Region IV District 16 outing on Friday, October 24. Port Isabel will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 49-20 league win over Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, King drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Brahmas host Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX) to face the Gators in a 4A-2 Region IV District 16 game on Friday, October 24. The Gators enter the game with a record of 1-6. Grulla lost 49-20 in their recent league game against La Feria (La Feria, TX)
