In Friday's league game, the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) football team overcame the visiting La Feria Lions (La Feria, TX), by a tally of 37-14.

The Tarpons now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grulla for a 4A-2 Region IV District 16 outing on Friday, October 31. Port Isabel will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 40-0 league loss to King (Kingsville, TX). The Gators record now stands at 1-7.
