The McIntosh Demons overwhelmed the visiting Shields Panthers football squad by a count of 62-0 in Friday's league test.

The Demons now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fruitdale for a 1A Region 1 test on Friday, October 24. McIntosh will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 56-0 league loss to Leroy (Leroy, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Shields moves to 1-8 on the season. The Panthers host Marengo (Dixons Mills, AL) to face the Panthers in a 1A Region 1 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Marengo lost 34-6 in their recent league test against Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL)
