In Friday's league outing, the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) football squad knocked off the host York Dukes (York, NE), by a margin of 42-16.

The Bluejays now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Crete for a B District 4 outing on Friday, October 24. Seward will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 27-21 league loss to Northwest (Grand Island, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, York drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Dukes travel to Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league game on Friday, October 24.
