The Seward Bluejays football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Northwest Vikings to 7 in the Bluejays league triumph on Friday.

The Bluejays now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blair for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 10. Seward will face a Bears team coming off a 42-0 league loss to Bennington (Bennington, NE). The Bears record now stands at 0-6.

The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against York (York, NE). The Dukes enter the B District 4 outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, York trounced Lincoln Northwest (Lincoln, NE), 43-7, in a league game.
