In Friday's league outing, the Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE) football squad tipped the host Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE), by a margin of 27-21.

The Vikings now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Northwest for a B District 4 outing on Thursday, October 23. Northwest will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 29-17 non-league loss to Standing Bear (Lincoln, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 1-7.
