In Friday's league bout, the Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX) volleyball team knocked off the host Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX), by a margin of 3-0.

The Gators now possess a 23-7 record. They play next when they host Jarrell for a 4A Region III District 24 bout on Tuesday, October 21. Gateway College Preparatory will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 8-29.
