Next up, the Eagles battle the La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 16. Salado will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Leander (Leander, TX).
The Gators (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Cedar Creek dropped by Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
